This software license agreement entitles licensee to install the purchased code on a single
server for unlimited use thereupon, including deployment under multiple domains on that server.
Licensee may not reverse engineer, decompile or redistribute
code in any form*. Licensee may modify code for any reason, so long as code is not redistributed
or installed on more than a single (hardware) server. Modified code may not qualify for support.
Any use of the databases and software contained in the QuickEStore zip file is on an "AS IS" basis. QuickEStore, L.L.C. (THE "LICENSOR") EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, WRITTEN OR ORAL, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR WARRANTIES OF FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. THE LICENSOR SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, LOSS OF USE, OR INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR SPECIAL DAMAGES THAT RESULT FROM USE OF THIS DATA AND SOFTWARE, EVEN IF MADE EXPRESSLY AWARE OF THE POSSIBILITY THEREOF. THE LIABILITY OF THE LICENSOR SHALL NEVER EXCEED THE DOLLAR AMOUNT THAT YOU PAID TO THE LICENSOR FOR THE USE OF THE DATA AND SOFTWARE DURING THE 12 MONTHS PRIOR TO THE DATE OF A CLAIM. Any rights not expressly granted in this license are reserved to the Licensor, which Licensor may enforce such rights on its own behalf.
Note to ISPs: QuickEStore may be used to provide commerce service provider (CSP) funtionality to your
clients, however, you may not under any circumstances redistribute QuickEStore code to those clients. What this
means is that you may setup "cart directories" under your domain and copy QuickEStore files into those directories.
You may point clients to the setup script in the admin folder under their cart directory. You may set up separate
datasources for each of your clients and they will enter their datasources in the setup script. They will also
enter the paths to their cart directories. What they will not have is access to the code, since giving the code to your clients
or allowing them access to it is the same as redistributing it, and this is expressly forbidden by the license agreement.
If your client requires their own shopping cart under their own domain, they must purchase their own license.
On the other hand, you may, as the owner of a QuickEStore license, open as many storefronts as you like under domains
that you own. Under this scenario, you must be either the administrative or billing contact for the domain(s) in question.
